QUETTA: Former Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani told that he was not allowed to meet his family after he got arrested by NAB.
After the hearing in an accountability court on Thursday, NAB was granted a remand of 14 days for the Former Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani. It was for the third time for the remand to be granted by court.
Mushtaq Raisani, who was former Balochistan Finance Secretary, was arrested by NAB last month after Rs 730 million were recovered from his house. NAB arrested him on charges of being involved in corruption in local governments.
While in court, Mushtaq Raisani claimed that he was not being allowed to meet his family. Raisani’s lawyer stated that his client also had health complications which needed to be addressed.
In response to this statement, court ordered authorities to let Mushtaq meet his family and to provide him with some health assistance.
